Coleman Benko is the founder of Benko Financial Services. He has been in the financial services business since 2006. He has been actively engaged and building relationships in the Oconee/Athens area, serving a number of clients since he began his career. A native of Watkinsville, Coleman attended the University of Georgia and earned his B.B.A. in Finance. He is proud to have roots in this community and looks forward to working with you. Coleman strives to develop and maintain strong relationships with each of his clients so that he may fully understand their needs and goals. He works hard to educate clients in an easy-to-understand manner so that they grasp personal finance and understand how they are going to work together to pursue client goals. Offering a number of services to his clients, he is excited to work with families and individuals who are looking to plan for their future.
Coleman is actively engaged in many civic organizations and causes in the local community. Benko Financial Services believes in helping those less fortunate and giving back to the community that has given so much to us. Coleman is on the Board of Directors with the Oconee County Rotary Club. He also serves on the Executive Committee for the Oconee Area Resource Council. This organization provides weekly meals, mentoring, and holiday gifts to underprivileged youth in the Oconee County community.
Coleman has been married to Kimberly Benko since 2013. They have one son, Brooks, and one daughter, Ellie Kate. Being a family in the Oconee/Athens community, they enjoy all the great food and music in the area and of course all things UGA. As a couple, Coleman and Kimberly enjoy cooking, traveling and any new adventure!
