Melody Melton is a native of Athens and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering. She has served Athens-Clarke County and many other municipalities in the Southeastern U.S. with managing their water resources and capital construction projects for nearly 20 years; she is now applying her skills in managing the financial resources of Benko Financial Services and their clients. As early as her college years, she has been elected by her peers as treasurer in several organizations where she was recognized as being someone trustworthy to be in charge of the organization’s funds. Melody considers it an honor to now help support Benko Financial Services serve clients and help them achieve their financial goals and plan for the future. She has been married to her husband, Mike, for 25 years. They have a son and daughter together, as well as two step-daughters and their families nearby. Melody's mother lives with them as well. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, crafting, and finding a new adventure every chance she gets.
